Build instructions

What you'll need: 200-250 gsm paper or cardstock, scissors or a craft knife, a ruler and glue stick.

Print the PDF at actual size (100%, do not scale to fit page) on 200-250 gsm paper.
Cut out each piece along the solid lines.
Score the dashed lines with a ruler for precise folds.
Glue the pieces in the numbered order on each sheet, working from the body outward to the details.
Let each joint dry before moving on to the next piece.

Launched in 1979 as a military and utility off-roader, the G-Class has kept its boxy silhouette for over four decades.

History and trivia

Though it started life as a utility and military vehicle, it evolved over time into a highly sought-after luxury SUV without giving up genuine off-road ability, thanks to its three locking differentials. It's hand-built in Graz, Austria, by Magna Steyr rather than at Mercedes-Benz's usual plants — a detail many owners aren't even aware of.
